Rare First Edition of To Kill a Mockingbird Found in Oxfam Shop

A rare first US edition of Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird was discovered in a donation box at an Oxfam bookshop in west London. The British Library has acquired the 1960 novel for its national collection. The book, which has sold over 40 million copies, was identified by shop manager Olivia Haysman-Walker.
