President Droupadi Murmu presented the 72nd National Film Awards for 2024 at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, with veteran Kannada actor Anant Nag receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Article 370 won Best Feature Film, while Yami Gautam took Best Actress and Mammootty and Kartik Aaryan shared Best Actor. Randeep Hooda and Rajkumar Periasamy also won key awards.
