Palestinian Football Returns With Martyrs' World Cup

Palestinian clubs have resumed organised football after nearly three years, with the Thousand Martyrs Cup drawing a full stadium at al-Khader near Bethlehem. More than 200 clubs are playing again across the West Bank, Gaza and refugee camps in Lebanon, though Israeli restrictions, destroyed stadiums and unpaid salaries still disrupt the game.
