US President Donald Trump said he could use new tariff powers to push Russia and Ukraine toward ending the war, speaking at the UN General Assembly. The law, signed last week, allows tariffs up to 100% on buyers of Russian oil and gas. Trump said the US is working closely with both sides and a deal could come sooner than expected.
