IIT Gandhinagar Students Win Intel Cup for AI Security System

Two IIT Gandhinagar undergraduates developed TrustGate, an AI cybersecurity system that combines network traffic and physical sensor data to detect attacks on critical infrastructure such as water plants and power grids. Miloni Thakkar and Mitwa Goswami won second prize at the Intel Cup in Shanghai. Inspired by a 2021 Florida water plant attack, the prototype still needs live-plant testing.
