Jaishankar Raises India's Concerns Over US Sanctions Bill With Rubio

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, raising India's concerns over the Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act. The law, signed by President Trump, authorises tariffs of up to 100 percent on countries buying Russian oil and gas. The two also discussed the Gulf and Ukraine situations.
