On Sept. 23, 1962, "The Jetsons" premiered on ABC, bringing a futuristic family to television. Set in 2062, the show followed George Jetson, his wife Jane, kids Judy and Elroy, dog Astro and robot Rosie in Orbit City. It became a lasting vision of space-age life.
