The Supreme Court has stayed the Allahabad High Court's strictures and Rs 5 lakh compensation order against Noida DM Medha Roopam for the National Security Act detention of student Akriti Chaudhary. The court clarified that only paragraphs 27-33 of the judgment are stayed, leaving the quashing of Chaudhary's detention undisturbed. The matter will be heard further on October 7.
