Vijay Calls AIADMK a Branch of DMK Ahead of Bypoll

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, campaigning in Madurantakam, called the AIADMK a "branch of the DMK" and framed the October 6 bypoll as TVK's "pure force" against the DMK's "evil force." TVK has fielded former AIADMK MLA K Maragatham Kumaravel, whose resignation triggered the contest. AIADMK's Edappadi K Palaniswami accused the ruling party of horse-trading.
