China Marks First Spacewalk on Shenzhou 7 Anniversary

On Sept. 25, 2008, China launched Shenzhou 7, its third human spaceflight, from Jiuquan aboard a Long March 2F rocket. Three astronauts spent three days in orbit and conducted the country's first spacewalk. The crew also deployed the Banxing mini satellite to photograph the spacecraft, marking a major leap for China's human spaceflight program.
