Iran Proposes 7-Day Deal to Reopen Strait of Hormuz

Iran's president and foreign minister used the UN General Assembly in New York to propose a deal with the Trump administration that would end fighting and reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days. Tehran demands the US lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports, release frozen assets and waive oil sanctions. Indirect talks were held Tuesday, but Trump threatened to "annihilate" Iran.
