Dorothy review: Karthik Subbaraj's tender take on conformity

Karthik Subbaraj's Dorothy, set in Madurai, follows two friends, Subbu and Karthik, whose lives unravel as they confront rigid ideas of masculinity. Starring Sananth, Rishikanth and Keerthy Suresh, the film blends arthouse themes with commercial storytelling, aided by Ilaiyaraaja's score and Tirru's visuals. Dhanush called it a bold masterpiece.
