Floods and landslides kill 56 in India, 12 in Nepal

Heavy rainfall has triggered floods and landslides that killed at least 56 people in India's Uttar Pradesh state and 12 in Nepal. Uttar Pradesh recorded 66.5mm of rain from Friday to Sunday, far above normal, damaging over 1,000 houses. In Nepal, authorities warned of flash floods across 49 districts as river levels rise.
