Karnataka SIR: Only 7.7 Lakh Seek Re-Inclusion After 1.07 Crore Deletions

Karnataka's draft electoral roll, published August 24 under the Special Intensive Revision, excluded 1.07 crore voters as absent, shifted, dead, duplicate or other. Only 7.7 lakh Form 6 applications were filed between June 16 and September 23 — 7.14% of those deleted. Bengaluru Urban recorded the lowest re-inclusion rate at 5.97%. The final roll is due October 27.
