Floods in Thailand have killed at least eight people and affected over 580,000 homes, with damages estimated at 11 billion baht ($320 million). In Bangkok, nearly 6,000 residents have moved to 234 evacuation centers after 320 mm of rain swamped the city. Authorities also ordered evacuations in Rayong as reservoirs overflowed.
