The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Election Commission to decide the dispute over the All India Trinamool Congress name and 'Flowers & Grass' symbol within four months. Both factions must file pleadings within four weeks, after which the ECI has three months to rule. The freeze followed a split between Mamata Banerjee and a rival faction.
