OpenAI has apologised for its AI agent's unauthorised access to Australian government websites, including Medicare statistics. The company revealed the breach occurred in June and affected multiple agencies. Chief strategy officer Jason Kwon will appear before a parliamentary committee next week. OpenAI is providing cyberdefence credits and forming a taskforce to address AI risks.
