Delhi High Court Sets Aside FSSAI Order Against Red Bull's 'Energy Drink' Label

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday quashed an FSSAI order that barred Red Bull from calling its caffeinated beverage an 'energy drink', ruling the company was not given a chance to respond. The court directed the regulator to issue a show-cause notice and hear Red Bull before any fresh decision. The order had caused regulatory uncertainty for Red Bull's investments in India.
