The CBI has arrested Sandeep Mistry, a key associate of fugitive businessman Nirav Modi, after his deportation from the UAE in connection with the Rs 6,498.20 crore Punjab National Bank fraud. Mistry, held on an Interpol Red Notice, allegedly facilitated forged import-export documents and coerced dummy directors. He has been remanded to judicial custody.
