Hamas, Islamic Jihad Form Coalition With Ex-Fatah Official Dahlan

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have agreed to form an electoral coalition with Mohammed Dahlan, a former top Fatah official close to the UAE, Palestinian officials told AP. Islamic Jihad's Mohammed al-Hindi confirmed the alliance, which could challenge President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah dominance if long-delayed parliamentary elections proceed on Nov. 28. The groups appear united by frustration with Abbas.
