India's women's compound archery trio of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Prithika Pradeep and Chikitha Taniparthi beat China 238-234 to win Asian Games gold, equalling South Korea's 2014 world record. Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and IOA president PT Usha praised the team. It is India's seventh gold and 53rd medal overall.
