India Keeps Buying Russian Oil Despite US Tariff Threat

India's Russian crude imports fell to about 1.75 million barrels a day in September, their lowest since April, as Middle East supplies rebounded to roughly 3 million barrels a day. Yet analysts say Moscow remains central to India's energy strategy despite a US law allowing tariffs of up to 100 percent on major buyers of Russian oil and gas.
