India Cuts Windfall Tax on Diesel, ATF Exports

The Indian government reduced the windfall tax on diesel and aviation turbine fuel exports effective October 1, while keeping the levy on petrol exports unchanged at Rs 0.5 per litre. The special additional excise duty on diesel exports was cut to Rs 16 per litre from Rs 20, and on ATF to Rs 10.5 per litre from Rs 15. Domestic fuel duties remain unchanged.
