Trump's Noncitizen Voting Crackdown Finds It Rare, Inconsequential

The Trump administration's push against noncitizen voting is highlighting how rare the practice is and that it has not been shown to change election outcomes. On Wednesday, Attorney General Todd Blanche announced charges against 10 people in Minnesota for alleged illegal voting across three elections in which over 8 million ballots were cast. Officials say such cases are nominal compared with the 152 million ballots cast in 2024.
