Man City whistleblower Rui Pinto loses witness protection

Portuguese whistleblower Rui Pinto, whose Football Leaks documents triggered the Premier League's investigation into Manchester City, will no longer receive witness protection, it emerged Wednesday. Pinto, 37, obtained files showing City breached financial rules from 2009 to 2018. City, found guilty of 114 of 115 charges, denies wrongdoing and is expected to appeal by Friday.
