The CBI has arrested CPWD Executive Engineer Vikrant Verma, his relative, and three officials of a Mumbai real estate group in a Rs 50-lakh bribery case. Verma allegedly demanded Rs 1 crore, later negotiated to Rs 70 lakh, for issuing an NOC for land in Mumbai. A trap on October 1 caught his relative accepting Rs 50 lakh.
