Somalia Rejects Israeli Presence, Cites Berbera Naval Base Plan

Somalia's President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud told Al Jazeera that Mogadishu will not accept an Israeli presence "under any circumstances," saying Israel plans a naval base and airport use in Berbera, Somaliland. He called Israel a destabilising force and criticised its December recognition of Somaliland, which no other country recognises.
