India's High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, said on Saturday that Dhaka's extradition request for Sheikh Hasina is under legal review and no timeframe can be given. Hasina fled to India in August 2024 after her government collapsed amid mass protests. Trivedi said India had no choice but to accept her, as she was still prime minister at the time.
