Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu how he fought through serious injuries to open the cockpit door after his Omani co-pilot attacked him during a Dubai-to-Tel Aviv flight. Machchhar said he opened the door from inside, allowing crew to regain control. Netanyahu called him a hero and invited him to light a torch at Israel's Independence Day.
