Tollywood actress Koel Mallick, elected to the Rajya Sabha on a Trinamool Congress ticket in April, is set to return to the Upper House as a BJP candidate after resigning in July. The BJP announced her candidacy for the October 16 bypoll for the Bengal seat she vacated. She is the fourth Trinamool Rajya Sabha MP to quit and join the BJP.
