Suchika Tariyal Wins India's First Asian Games MMA Medal

Suchika Tariyal became India's first Asian Games MMA medallist, taking bronze in the women's Traditional 60kg category at Aichi-Nagoya 2026. Her semifinal against Singapore's Hui Hoon Teo was initially awarded to Teo, overturned to a draw on India's appeal, then decided by a weight tiebreaker after Teo weighed 700g less.
