Residents of an upscale Amsterdam neighbourhood have taken the city to court over a licence granted to Fabel Friet, a chip shop made famous on TikTok. Nineteen neighbours say the 'TikTok queue' on Runstraat clogs the canal street and attracts litter, gulls and rats. The city council acknowledged the mayor can refuse a licence if the living environment suffers.
