Private investment in India is reviving, led by power, data centres and metals, with banks lending more to industry, DEA Secretary Anuradha Thakur said at the Kautilya Economic Conclave 2026. She cited record project sanctions of Rs 4.4 lakh crore in FY26 and about $30 billion in gross FDI inflows in Q1 FY27.
