A former antiques dealer bought an oil painting for $3 at a South Carolina Goodwill, suspecting its ornate frame held value. Antiques Roadshow later identified it as a 17th-century Flemish work from around 1650. In March 2012, it sold at a Massachusetts auction for $190,000, a return of over 63,000 times the purchase price.
