Over 70% of Indian Youth Commute Daily for Education: MoSPI

A MoSPI survey shows more than 70% of Indian youth commute daily for education, with students aged 15-29 recording the highest trip participation at 79.1% in rural and 73.3% in urban India. Two-wheelers dominate worker travel at 42.6%, while urban mass transit accounts for just 5.0% nationally. Workers spend an average of Rs 785 monthly on commuting.
