The Pentagon has stopped using Anthropic's AI tools, a US defence official told the BBC, months after labelling the company a supply chain risk. Anthropic refused to remove safety guardrails from its Claude model, prompting the designation and a lawsuit. The tools had been used in intelligence and military operations.
