J.K. Rowling's £10m MS clinic helps thousands

J.K. Rowling donated £10 million to the University of Edinburgh in 2010 in memory of her mother, Anne, who died of multiple sclerosis complications in 1990 aged 45. The Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic opened in 2013, combining NHS patient care with research into MS, motor neurone disease, Parkinson's and early-onset dementia. It has since held tens of thousands of appointments.
