Glasgow has become a European leader in building small satellites, with more CubeSats produced there than anywhere else in Europe, according to the Scottish Government. Scotland's wider space industry generated £335m in 2022-23, up 69% in five years, employing 2,811 people. But as European governments pour billions into their own satellite sectors, questions grow over state support.
