Punjab Moves Supreme Court Against CBI Probe Order

The Punjab government has petitioned the Supreme Court challenging a Punjab and Haryana High Court order directing a CBI probe into corruption allegations involving transfers, postings, policies and tenders. The High Court ordered the CBI to register a case and file a status report within two months, following a PIL over ED letters to the Punjab DGP. Punjab argues the CBI lacks jurisdiction.
