Amazon Prime Video has secured exclusive worldwide streaming rights to the Emmy Awards under a six-year deal starting in 2027, ending the ceremony's run on traditional US broadcast networks. The agreement replaces the long-standing rotation among ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC, and will stream live for free globally each September without a subscription. The Television Academy says the deal gives the Emmys unprecedented reach in over 200 countries.
