The first Corbett Literature Festival opened Tuesday in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand, bringing together writers, conservationists, scientists, photographers, forest officials and folk artists. Held with support from the Uttarakhand Forest Department, Corbett Tiger Reserve and Uttarakhand Tourism, the three-day event explores forest stories and communities. Sessions cover Jim Corbett's legacy, biodiversity and wildlife rescue, ending October 8.
