Kolkata's Park Street, famed for its Christmas celebrations, will host a Durga Puja for the first time in centuries at Allen Park. Organised by Kolkata Sanatani Sangha, led by BJP functionaries, the five-day event will feature Bengali cultural programmes, evening aarti and prasad distribution. Organisers say a small puja was held there over 200 years ago.
