Saudi Arabia Opens Safety Probe Into Flydubai Cockpit Stabbing

Saudi Arabia has launched an air accident safety investigation into the September 30 flydubai cockpit stabbing, in which a co-pilot attacked the captain with an axe on a flight bound for Israel. The UAE has opened a separate criminal probe, calling it a terrorist attack. The US NTSB has assigned a representative; Israel has offered to join but has not been invited.
