Gazans killed daily despite ceasefire as US peace plan stalls

More than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began on 10 October last year, according to Gaza's health ministry, even as large-scale bombardment stopped. Israel says it targets Hamas operatives and accuses the group of violations. Most of Gaza's 2.1 million people remain displaced, many in tent cities, as the US plan to end the war stalls.
