Bluefin tuna have returned in large numbers off Cornwall after nearly vanishing from UK waters, WWF's Living Planet Report 2026 says. The report highlights other recoveries, including wild tigers rising from 3,200 in 2010 to 5,700 in 2025. Yet monitored wildlife populations have fallen 73% since 1970, with nature still in 'freefall'.
