Microsoft Denies Visa Fraud, Barred From PERM Program

Microsoft has denied US fraud allegations after the Trump administration suspended it from the Labor Department's PERM green card program. Vice President JD Vance accused the company of replacing American workers with cheaper foreign labor, citing about 6,000 layoffs alongside 6,300 H-1B workers. Microsoft said most of its roughly 6,000 H-1B filings last year were status changes, not new hires.
