Wembanyama Backs French Student Protests Over School Conditions

NBA star Victor Wembanyama voiced support for French teenagers protesting poor school conditions, saying he "hears" and supports them. The Interior Ministry said 71,500 people demonstrated Thursday, including 24,500 in Paris. The protests, which began last month in Paris's northern suburbs over teacher absences and shabby facilities, have grown into a nationwide movement against inequality and weak public spending.
