Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury Questions Curbs on Dissent Ahead of Delhi Protest

Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury on Friday questioned restrictions on dissent and the right to protest amid opposition agitation against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Her remarks came ahead of the Cockroach Janata Party's proposed protest in Delhi on October 10, which Delhi Police have denied permission for, citing short notice and public safety concerns. Congress MP Mallu Ravi said INDIA bloc MPs met to decide their next course of action.
