Opposition MPs March to President Over Election Commissioner Row

Opposition INDIA bloc leaders marched from Parliament to Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the scrapping of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Led by Rahul Gandhi, they submitted a memorandum to President Droupadi Murmu, alleging collusion between the Election Commission and the BJP government. The BJP rejected the allegations, citing recent bypoll victories as evidence of public trust.
