Israeli settlers carried out at least 19 attacks on Palestinian olive harvesters across the occupied West Bank on Friday, burning and uprooting trees and stealing crops, a Palestinian commission said. Israeli forces separately detained 16 Palestinians in raids, including two officials at Hebron's Ibrahimi Mosque. Settlers, backed by the army, have grown more brazen during the key harvest season.
